noise/squeal/grinding

when pick-in my little one up from school, moving in very slow traffic in 1st gear something felt different a bit jumpy, when i set off all felt fine, then i heard a squeal and a bump, so pulled over, i could not see anything so carried on to the school, all was fine again for 800 yards then a squeal/grinding noise started and it felt like something was trying to grip the back wheels, then it would stop and start again. so pulled over still can not see anything and called recovery

i don't know where to start ??

well saying that i have checked the breaks/springs/shocks all look fine

Prop u/j or maybe rear pads or wheel bearing .

i had simular thing on mine, but did it on reverse and stopped the wagon moving. turned out there was massive play on the front prop. what happened was the bolts where hitting the prop and acted like a brake.

well im hope in it my be a back prob or uj seized, i say that cos back prop was a bit stiff to pull out n push in when the 1st diff went, seemed ok 3 week later when new diff was put in, may be this is why i blew 2 diff so easy ????? or may be not ??? lol
