Hi all , I know this is going to be a long shot but here goes , I have a 1995 P38 4.6 that has developed a noise from (by the sound of it ) driver’s side front wheel area.
My problem is I can’t work out where its coming from , when I jack it up and pull push about it does not make a sound , but when I am driving along I can hear it when I go over a bump.
It sound like something metal is lose , I have changed the anti-roll bar bushes , and checked the airbags and dampers but they look fine
Anyone that has had the same problem or an idea would help a lot

If it only happens when going over a bump, I'd suspect the shocker. Brake back plate is another possibility.

possibly anti roll bar drop links. The ball joints top and bottom give up on most cars. Cheap and easy to do too. If it is that, you have to put a spanner up inside the brackets as there is a back-nut on the ball joint (just in case it is that and I forget to give that advise later!!).
