No Wipers

No wiper function on my newly acquired D1 other than the scooter works ! did the obvious fuse check are there any more simple checks to be made ? Cheers - Gav

What do you mean by no function? Is there a switch? What happens when you turn it or pull it to release fluid onto the screen?

Its a 91 200tdi, Rangey185, does not have the same stalks as a 300 and my TD5 Disco 2. Would appear to be up and down function as per the indicator stalk, does have a wee slide switch which I assume adjusted the speed ?. Wash is by pushing the end of the stalk in. Changed the fuse with no avail so shall have a go at accessing the motor. Thanks.

Sorted, just needed a bit of manual help to get them going eventually, has been sitting for 3 years so had seized slightly !!
