Dear sirs, I'm not a mechanic and have a problem with my Freelander 1 TD 4 (204D3) any advice appreciated

I recently had an issue where I needed to remove the rocker cover. Changed a few gaskets, replaced the injector seals and a few other minor fixes. Got everything back together again over the past week, and I get the engine to start up, idles at rev. ~ 800-1K.

But have no response from the gas pedal, Got two engine ligths in the dash, the normal and one with an exclamation sign, my cheep OBDII does not report any codes. Seams I've managed to break connection between the TPS and the pedal itself (or managed to disconnect it), I don't even know where to locate the TPS, any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance, Duncan

Is the fuel rail connection secure and corrosion free?

It looked ok when the manifold was off, but needed to replace the fuel pressure sensor (This was hanging on by a thread, got a generic one). I'll inspect the actual connection again today.

Thanks,
Duncan
