Hello all, is that really possible that my 2.25 1975 petrol never had a head gasket? photos below, I can't see any gasket. and that's how the head came off.

scratch that I think there is one embedded on the head.

Witness marks on the head
it is definitely embedded in the head. Did it clean off ok?

Reckon you're on to something. Says here, if he removes the cylinder-head all together - less weight see... it's a 64.73% power-increase. Have we tried looking down the back of the sofa?
