No electrical feed to EAS system, any ideas?

My P38 is my daily driver, I'm a high mileage driver. X5s can be riddled with electrical problems. If you want a big comfy and fairly reliable 4x4 a JEEP GC is your best bet - but the interiors are nasty. Nissan Muranos are superb alternatives to Range Rovers, the CVT gearbox can give jip - but other than that they are reliable and well equipped.
