Hi can anyone help please,I have a 1998 p38 2.5 diesel dse and have had it off road a while in storage but regularly start at least once a month . The other day when I went to unlock the central locking didn’t work but when I turned the ignition on the hazard lights were constantly flashing and the message interia switch . The car still starts fine . I checked switch and seems ok ,checked fuses and fuse box connections and bcem connections. Can anyone point me in right direction.

Have a look behind the kick panel by your foot on right hand side. There’s an inertia switch in there, push it.

^^^^he isn’t wrong, P38 M51 needs a 1000cca type 31 I find.
