No Acceleration

Hi folks, started up my 2006 manual TD4 this afternoon and there was no acceleration at all. The engine just ticked over, but would not pull the cap off my head. Anyone got any ideas? I'd be most grateful..Minimick

Mine has to stay in park until the ecu has finished its boot up bit like a computer. If I go straight to drive there is no accelerator.

Mine is manual gearbox, so I'm sure this wouldn't apply, thanks. STV123

Mine is the same, particularly if I try to reverse straight from cold. There's no response from the go pedal while in reverse. But if I rev the engine and try again, then it'll reverse just fine. I suspect I've a vacuum leak somewhere, but not found any evidence of it.
