Hi , new to this forum ,, got a 2000 disco td5 , got a nnn ecu last week and got it coded to car , it started ok and ran great , but when you touch the, no reponse,,,,, any thoughts on whats wrong
Thanks

Auto spark put ecu in , wouldnt start , pressed a few buttons then it started and said sometimes there's a problem with throttle pedal , few presses of the loud button , no noise

Doesn't the NNN ECU come from the later 15P engine / facelift with different 3 track throttle pedal & various other engine sensor differences ?

+1, the throttle track setting must be OK(which means 2 track instead of 3 like it's originally in the NNN) to ''feel'' the pedal input otherwise it runs only at idle though if it's just a NNN ECU swappped with the original MSB without a Eu2 map loaded in it the whole thing is messed up

Do i need the throttle peddle from the other car for this to work ??
Cheers

No, you need a Eu2 fuel map loaded in the NNN ECU and set the throttle to 2 track cos now you have a Eu2 engine with different injectors and a Eu3 ECU which is set to 3 track throttle configured for higher pressure injectors and as your TPS has physically only 2 tracks the NNN ECU misses the 3'rd track input so it goes to idle default... you can't put Eu3 management on Eu2 engine just like that, if you put a 3 track TPS it will run but not well and that engine might die soon due to overfuelling and excessive EGT
