Nice MOT man

Just spent weeks off weekends working on me 97 disco for mot after teaching myself to weld. complete new boot floor, made and fitted new sills replaced suspension and done loads of other jobs, took it for MOT last week the guy put it on ramp walked underneath seen how much work I had done, then he lowerd it down came over to me in the viewing area and said I'm going to log out off computer whilst it's still possible because I can see you have done a lot off work but it's going to fail which would be a shame, he said it would fail on condensation in headlight and they could not be checked so go and sort that out and bring it back. so I sorted it took it back he done MOT said good job wish he seen more repaired that good.

Took my ambulance for an mot yesterday after picking it up. Had a chat to him explaining I knew it would fail but wanted him to give it a thorough inspection and tell me what was a fail and what was an advisory because I didn't really know the vehicle and wanted to decide if a rolling restoration was possible and what lay ahead in the form of trouble to come.

He was great, we chatted for ages stood under her as he tapped and prodded, pointing out this and that and took an hour and twenty mins of his time, 1/2 an hour after his normal working day.

Money well spent and much appreciated by me
