So, with the starter sorted, next in line is the gear change. It was like waving a dead fish in a gale...
A quick look at the turret revealed the cause:
So, splashed out on a SlickShift kit with a new turret, set springs etc.
Easy job, gear change sorted - really snappy now - almost like a normal car.
Should point out I also have a rebuilt gearbox and transfer box (both by Ashcroft).
