Didn't hear about the helicopter, I know 3 fire crews had to attend, was because it was 1 from either side and a specialist water team I believe... might have to make a trip over there soon though and see what its like...

If id been there i would have pulled em out...by the necks...and left the helicopter to rescue someone who really needed it.

Confusing really as the photo shows then getting into a dinghy. What did the helicopter do?

Seems the helicopter was used for illumination according to the BBC news. Pretty stupid as the depth markers are easy to see at that Ford as well.

It really is about time Essex was detached from the UK and left to float away into the Atlantic Ocean.

What a pair of proper pricks they are.

Brilliant, pure brilliance in that statement, almost 'Essex' in its execution, the atlantics the other side of the country, we're next to the English channel/north sea!

Do they do posh snorkels for Rangies?

If not, I might design and market one made out of gold plated tubing and topped by a polished platinum mushroom intake studded with diamonds and assorted other bling.

It will be for sale for a just £5,000 or, just £28,000 fitted (exc VAT)

:clap2:

I recognise the water didn't look that deep, but first you don't know what is in the water, all sorts of trap hazards, second it only takes water at knee high to knock someone off of their feet. Although it looks still on the surface you don't really know what is going on below.

I'm not really sure what their sexual preference, family life or finance had to do with this "story" though. Heaps of people get rescued from vehicles trapped in deep water all of the time. Unless the aforementioned items are what made this news worthy.

I know where the Atlantic is and I expect Essex to be towed out into the Atlantic and left to float.

You must be from Essex not to have worked out that simple piece of logic considering what's the point of allowing such a huge content of excretia to float in such a small expanse of water like the channel or North Sea.

Also there is only ONE Atlantic rather than THE Atlantics.

Hopefully when you get there you'll be very well acquainted.

Semper in excretia sumus, solim profundum variat as they say in Billericay.

I'm sorry I missed the apostrophe, my apologies, I would have thought you could of figured that one out seeing as you seem to see the ability to read minds as an everyday ability. Yes I am from Essex and I don't really care for the depth of the **** in billericay, not being from the area it would make no odds to me...
