Hello everyone, Ducati Dude here just joined the forum. As you may have guessed I'm into my motorcycles and also into classic cars. Of course I'm also into Land Rovers, had a series 2 SWB back in the early eighties followed by a p38 range rover and my latest acquisition is an L322 td6 which I bought about nine months ago. It was going to be my daily driver until the wife took a liking to it, now I get to drive it at weekends if I'm lucky ! I've been in the motor trade for the last forty years and relocated to West Cornwall about ten years ago .

Hello and welcome from me:)
I used to have a 916 many years ago also love classic cars.
Hi Flossie, what classic cars are you interested in and do you own any at present ?
I currently have a mk2 triumph stag which is a running restoration, a mk3 ford capri and a rover p6 which in in the process of restoring. Plus my daughters mk1 capri which I've rebuilt the engine on and am now restoring the body before I repaint it in its original colour. The Ducati is a 750 supersport, I think I'm trying to relive my youth when I couldn't afford to buy or insure these "toys"

Cortina MK2 1600E 1969
Both in bits but the Morris less so.
Excellent the choices of classics, I had a mk2 Cortina in the 70s but not an "E", restored a gold 1600E for someone in the 90s and they were very collectable then. The first car a remember was my dad's Morris 8 series E, so that would certainly be on my list of cars to own. Compared to modern vehicles they were so simple to work on. I hope they give you the pleasure my classics give me, it still amazes me the attention they get from people when you drive them. Not as comfortable as the Range Rover over long distances though.

Hi there and welcome! Always good to see another biker!
The 750SS is a gorgeous looking bike, had the opportunity to ride a 749, absolutely stunning bike and one i could ride all day

Hi, the 749 is certainly a beautiful bike. I had always promised myself a Ducati but it's the old story of life getting in the way, marriage, children, mortgage. Saw the 750SS locally and couldn't resist !
One of the few benefits of age is not only can I afford my boys toys but I can insure them at reasonable rates.
