Yep, it’s a tradition for me now. The date’s about right - it’s always on the Sunday after my daughter’s birthday, so I get to escape a house full of mad, sugar-fuelled 7 year old girls!
As usual I don’t actually need anything, just see what tat appeals to me on the day.
Give me a wave, I’m the one in a Landy!

I usually find some trophy on the day. Aside from Landy stuff I've been known to take hope a milk churn or two, a rear of train guard paraffin lamp to restore to name a couple. Let's see where this year takes me.
I swerved the one earlier this year due to very wet weather, I suspect others did too. I reckon this one will have a big turnout.

Get anything good?

I suppose it depends on what you call 'good'.

I bought a set of NOS ex Dutch army glow plugs (pig tail type) for £10
10 rolls of Sellotape for £1, another milk churn and a castrol oil bottle. So, not much Landy related stuff unless I decide to fasten it together with Sellotape :D

I see less and less series stuff as the years pass. Had an eye open for a Series gear stick...just for the shelf in case mine snaps but nothing...Even Defender stuff seems to be shrinking but I think I see more old Disco and Range Rover bits - the stuff that rots and gets broken I guess.

I was speaking to someone there who said the same about Series parts, doesn’t bother me as I’m a OneTen man. I reckon 75% of the Landy parts there need to be weighed in at the scrappy, still a good day out though. I got a few bargain workshop tools from someone selling off his old man’s tools, so it wasn’t a wasted trip.

Seemed to thin out early too. I reckon half the buyers left by about 12.30. Enjoyed myself though, always a good day out.
