Hello all
I am brand new to the forum and land rovers, though having admired them for years, I now find myself in a position to become an owner of one !
I have done a lot of reading around which one would be a good buy and which are less so, though I have a question to ask before I take the plunge, if I may.
I'm wondering what sort of depreciation I can expect. I am aware that they are said to be going up in value, though is that the sales pitch so often quoted or is it a reality ? I suspect that the bottom end of the market will be more stable than further up ? What I would like to avoid is spending all my scrapings, to find 10yrs down the line I have lost out, as you do with your average car. I hope to have between £4000 and £7000 to spend, is it a case to spend what you have, or is there some wisdom in being a little more cautious ?
I hope some of you will be able to give me some advice please ???
Thanks a lot,
Edward
