newbie with 90

hi all
new to landyzone and landrovers. just bought my first, a d reg 90 2.5n/a i have dropped on a 200tdi lump and have plans to fit in new year. any tips/links greatly appreciated. have been doing plenty of scouring round the forum so a top place to start, loads of info

if ya do a search the conversion is a common one and has been coverd loads of times so you will find all the info ya need..

thats a sweeping statement, its not the best if you got a large load to shift.

Useless if you've got a family. and crap if ya like ya creature comforts.

I have me the miss's and a dog so perfect for me and we have a hatchback for long journeys and it's a truck cab so I can fit alot in the back how about you?

I'm single and flogged the 90HT. To get another disco cos ya can't get **** all in the back and even less in a truckcab.

guys, i was only sayin hi, didnt mean to start a hefty debate thanks for the welcome. lookin forward to gettin stuck in (not literally) with the planned mods.

the swap can be done over a few days. will be easier if you have a few friends that know what they are doing. did the same last year on my own and took me 4 days/ evenings. what is the engine you are going to fit from as this will make a big diff when fitting.

engine out of discovery. all reconditioned but never refitted. so planning to buy of the peg intercooler pipes and exhaust mods cos of the turbo route. hope this is goin to be the right decision and wont be scouring ebay for months tryin to find other obscure bits.
