Ok, where do we start. wheel balance to start, wheel bearing, cv joint , panhard bush. Before you get shot down in flames may be introduce yourself as thats the LZ rules.
Is it disco or fender you got, more info will get a better chance of an answer.
Oh! welcome by the way.

Hi sorry it's John just on phone at work its a 2.5 td5 just had bottomball joint replaced new oil sseal but makes a noise like a put of ballance sound ok at 30 but gets worce not a metallic noise

Can you drive through it? to check CV put on full lock and drive slow in a circle ( car park ) open windows and have a listen you will hear a grinding noise. Wheel bearing, put on axle stands hand brake off, move wheel left and right then top and bottom is there any play, if thats ok get under and give all steering rods etc a good tug to see if any bushes are fecked.

Have you got chunky tyres on it? Could be the tread noise..

As has been said, jack up that wheel and see if you can wobble it top to bottom and side to side - D2 wheel bearings - entire hub including ABS sensor - you can't just nip 'em up like a standard tapered wheel bearing. SOMETIMES (but not ALWAYS) a wobbly bearing will throw up the 3 amigos on the dashboard (ABS, TC & HDC warning lights) due to duff info from the ABS sensor.
