Newbie Questions - be gentle!

Good day All,

I've recently taking delivery of my first Defender (90 2.2 Puma) and have a few questions that I can't seem to get answers to via owners hand book, google etc.

1. Rev Counter - no redline to be seen so unclear where this is. I am not looking to drive at max revs but it good to know at what point I'm getting close etc.

2. Glow Plug Indictor - I've yet to see this illuminate but then again it's not been cold here. However in past vehicles I've had the indicator would at least flash when turning the ignition on. Even in the AM I would have expected it to come on even for a second.

3. Randomly I get a faint buzz sound from the instrument cluster. I'm chalking this up to it reseting this or that but again, not sure if it's normal.

4. Rear Roof Liner - Mine is the white/cream/light grey one. Feels decent etc but noticed a bit of sagging above what would be the passenger head. It also doesn't appear to be fixed anywhere and looks to be just sitting on top of the side bits. Looking at pics online didn't help me sort out of this too is normal.

5. Does the feeling of being 5 playing with Tonka trucks ever go away?

Yes, they eventually just become part of life and you treat them just as normal transport.
Then again, having been around LR's all my life they are just normal transport to me, it is more unusual when I drive my wife's car.
