Newbie - Is this handling normal ?

It's surprising how much effect a problem with tracking can have. Handling on mine was poor and it turned out that the tie rod was bent and had been 'fixed' by winding out one of the track rod ends. I put a new tie rod and track rod ends in then ATS set the tracking for me - it was a totally different drive after that.

I generally find it much easier to cruise in mine with one hand at about 1 o'clock position so that I can make very small input corrections at speeds of 30 and up.

You are steering through a basic lorry box which will always feel imprecise compared to a rack.

Simple bit of advice is to learn how to drive your Landy!

I have spent many happy hours giving very basic 'driving lessons' to numerous Landy owners, who all seem to have come away with a totally different driving attitude than they had previously!

It ain't rocket science, it is all about knowing what your beast wants to do and what you want it to do ... there is a huge difference!!

If your Landy doesn't want to do something that you think it should do, then ask yourself why, and what can you do to make it better?

Steering, tracking, bushes, and tuning all contribute to the handling. However, at the end of the day it all depends upon the nut behind the wheel! :D

Am running 3" lift and flex kit and is fine in a straight line!! Corners well you just slow down quite a lot!!

Try running Special tracks or other mud tyres they will pull in like buggery on standing water, keeps you awake lol!!!
