Hi all I don't currently own a Landy of any shape or form but I am looking for either a Disco 200di or 300Tdi I may even consider a Range Rover.

I live in Hampshire with my wife Lyz & we currently own a Volvo V70 2.5T (my car) which is used to tow the caravan & a Skoda Octavia 1.6 LX (Lyz's car) The V70 does a good job of towimg the caravan but it's expensive on fuel when towing, so I am in the market for diesel Disco or Range Rover. It wont be soon but hopefully in the next 12 -18 months unless I get offered an absolute steal of a deal I may even consider a project so long as it's not a complete from the ground up rebuild

Regards

hi jim and :welcome2:
look out for a cheap defender as a project for the next 12 months

Hi "drewster" trouble is the wife is not to impressed with the Defenders she thinks they look to "agricultural" or "army" like I myself would have one tomorrow but it would have to be a 5 door station wagon version to make it more user friendly for when we tow the caravan & take our 2 dogs out as they are both quite big, one is an English Mastiff the other is an old cross breed but still on the large side

I am a fan of the defender, but it sounds like you need a disco2 or 3 depends on your budget really. Oh and :welcome2: to the site. a thick skin and a GSOH is required. But you will get a lot of help from a lot of nutcases who love Landies
