Hi! New to this forum, have been sifting through some of the archives and there's so much great info! I have an unusual issue with my 2003 Freelander Td4. When I pull away whilst turning left (and only left) I get a 'clunk' from my rear right wheel (well best I can tell) it almost feels as though the brakes are binding. Car drives well other than this strange noise. Have recently replaced all 4 tyres and had brakes checked out, all ok. VCU is cool to touch after a 20 minute drive, so guessing that's ok. Have only had the car for a couple months. Have bought a set of rear diff mounts, which I'm going to tackle this weekend. Any clues to what this could be? Like I said, drives very smoothly everywhere, round corners with no noises. Only when pulling away and turning left? Have been through a couple muddy fields recently and the 4 wheel drive seemed to be working ok as I didn't get stuck! Any words of wisdom would be greatly received. Thanks in advance. And how do I post a normal thread
