Welcome! I'm also in South Wales, and joined just a couple of days ago!
The home page is mostly a list of the forums and a gallery of featured pix. I'm sorry I can't help you with how to post to the home page, but I'm sure someone here will be happy to advise!

If not spam:
On the home page, click on "Anything goes..." section, or "General Land Rover Chat", and there, on the bottom, click "New Thread"

Or let some 12 year old child help you out at first... (Better not in the ANything goes section though
