Hi. We have just purchased a Freelander TD4 2004 today to pick up on Friday. This is to replace a dead grey import Toyota Corolla. Years ago I was a member of radio wing MT Troop in the Army so have several miles experience of the military version and a fair bit of experience of hurling the (normally bent) starting handle into the bushes. I once spent an entire exercise in one where the starter motor was U/S and had to be bump started out of the hides. I also have many experiences of taking the bolt from under the accelerator pedals that the REME used to put in on the 1 Tonne.

TC & HDC amber light time. Nice to be able to get onto a site like this and find the cause without hours of fun. The vehicle is still under warranty so the car sales establishment we bought it from are sorting it. I must say they have been very helpful with another annoying little problem that wasn't covered by the warranty. I'm going for brake light switch based on what I've read.
