Tow bars - new defender owner

I have just had a mad moment and purchased a 110 defender. The trouble is I feel I got the gear but no idea!

We tow a caravan and in my moment of not wanting to buy another vehicle that all seems rather 'beige', had not really considered the height differences of towing the caravan. Could anyone give advice of their experience of what they needed to do to ensure that the caravan is at the right angle for towing, what to consider with tow bar?

I apologise in advance if this seems a silly question, but interest to know your experiences.
