New wire rope attachment?

Got a new wire rope to replace the old grotty one on my superwinch. When i fix the electrics,(it winds out on the remote but wont wind it back on), I`ll need to fit the new one.
How do they attach? All the same or different?

Superwinch use a grub screw in the drum. Don't overtighten it when fitting the new one or you'll split the cable down the middle. Also, pay careful attention to which way around the cable goes into the drum. (you'll see the hole for the cable is offset). Get it wrong and you could cause yourself problems. Don't forget to oil trhe new cable in too.
