New Wheel Bearings - Too much Play?

I have just had to replace the stub axle and wheel bearings on my 110.

I have a brand new stub axle and bearings. Put it all together with the bearings all greased up and put on the first hub nut. Tightened the thing up but even when it is pretty tight there is still play in the hub.

Does anyone have any ideas?

td5 ,earlier? check you havent got play in swivels ,or brg jamming on stub

Its a 1998, I will go and check the jamming, there is no play in the swivels for sure.

Ok, the problem was the little tab on the spacer was slightly too long and it wasn't going all the way along the groove in the stub axle.
