Hi guys,
Not sure if this is a common problem on VCUs. I have just changed the VCU with a new one. My landy has 90000km so far. However, after the minor operation , whenever i change gear from 4th to 5th, i start hearing a clinging noise under the car, as if there is not enough torque to enable the change in gear. This causes that I have to go back in 4th until the revs are up and then I change into 5th and its fine. The noise is heard both on 4th and 5th gear when the revs are low. I have a suspicion that the noise is coming from the VCU as I never used to hear the noise before changing the VCU. Anybody can help?
Thanks,
Ivan
