I have just purhased a freelander td4 recently. its been around 8 years since i owned a 4x4. i have had 3 discoverys and various others, i needed another as i got myself a caravan last year and needed something to tow it with.
Well what can i say, i have had a few little problems and have found your site very very helpful in solving them.
1. the three amigos! it was the break light switch not fully home and in the clicked position!!
2.poor fuel acomomy. clean out a very blocked egr valve, fitted new pierburgh Maf sensor and a roverrons tu3 tuning box. (wow now i was so impressed with this, more low down torque letting the auto box change up quicker thus saving me fuel and much smother driving).
3. very poor circulation of air inside the car. (changed the pollen filter and was amazed with the difference.
i am very glad i found this site and i am sure i am goin to enjoy having a banter with you all.
