Evening all, just thought i'd share a few pics of my latest toy, its a V8 on an e plate, its done 162,000 miles (only 700 in the last 3 years) starts and runs perfectly (actually starts better than my audi!) the guy we got it from kept the mechanical bits well sorted but wasn't one for looking after the bodywork so we have been busy getting it ready to spray when the weather gets a bit warmer so please excuse the multi coloured paint work!
It went for an mot this morning and failed on a couple of things, rear anti roll bar bush, headlights and rear number plate bulb (i didn't know there were two bulbs until the mot bloke pointed it out :doh so not too bad considering its been sat for over a year and that we only give £800 for it
Hopefully will get the bits done for mot this week, got diff guards fitted front and rear, have a nato hitch which the guy we brought it from gave us ready to go on the back, just need a steering guard and can go out playing in the mud next weekend:5bparty:
The day we picked it up, looking a bit sorry for itself!
After a quick blast with the pressure washer
Fortunately it fits in the shed!
Old and much older!!
My 3 year old nephew making himself useful!
Starting to look a bit more presentable! and in two minds whether to loose the side steps for some rock/tree sliders as i think they might get in the way when off road.
