Understood about the "extra parts" !!

Ball joint rubbers clearly look perished when we were doing tracking after MOT, but joints still ok at moment. It will be a job for the warmer weather. New joints will be in the freezer while I'm extracting the old ones.

You can get replacement rubbers. Getting the new ones in is easier than getting the old ones out.

That ball joint set looks similar to the one I have, be forewarned that you may not have all the parts you need to extract the ball joints, I had to make up one part.
Keith,
Can you send the dimensions for the extra part you made ?

Pete

I will ASAP but it was a real bodge and if I remember correctly I machined one bit on my lathe.

The 21 piece one does the job, although to be fair none of the adaptors were a perfect fit. And yes if i need tools for special jobs I usually make them. Like the hub adjustment tool.
