Hi everyone, my purple pearl (daihatsu terios +) got written off last week and I have taken the plunge into the world of freelanders. Dad got me a great deal from a respected 4x4 dude and I'm the proud owner of an 02 plate td4....all be it awaiting on delivery next week. Been browsing the site and it's full of great advice and think I will fit right in! Ta-ra for now!

welcome to the forum.you will need a thick skin and a sense of humour on here.so give as good as you get.:D:D

I'm originally from south of Glasgow but moved up north to Morayshire 3yrs ago. The new car is located south of Glasgow so I have a 450 mile round trip to make next week to collect :)

He had that or the freelander van in my price range, everything else was newer and more expensive. My dad has had 2 freelanders before with no problems.

Collected mine Saturday and so far all going well. So far got just over 300 miles on the clock and have just gone past the half tank mark so I think it's returning the mpg ok. I have a couple of niggles with it but going to search the freelander pages to see if there's anything there that can point me in the right direction.
