New to the site and need some advice

Hi I'm new to this site and after a bit of advice , I have a 2014 puma 90 no issue there and have recently got back my old 1992 200tdi 90 from my daughter after it failed mot and she wanted rid , now having have a quick look it doesn't look too bad a few suspension bushes and the like , the main probs are with the chassis other bad corrosion / holes front offside cross member and rear offside chassis leg , so debating about the merits of what to o with this beast it is a good looking motor and was my first defender so would like to do something special at a moderate cost so not sure about galv chassis change then go for the whole off-road theme or what , biggest decision right now is about the chassis repair and repair again or bite the bullet and go for the galv chassis swop having looked quickly I'm guessing about 3 grand for that.

Hoping for some ideas

I'd find it hard not to get a new chassis, but the wife would say otherwise! Depends how much it's gonna cost to get the current chassis sorted really. No point in dropping say a grand into it.

I do alright, it's just not worth the ear ache!
