Im Steve, just bought my first Land Rover Defender. I haven’t owned my own four wheeler since 2012 when I sold my last BMW. My first choice is my motorbike but a change back to working more in the UK has encouraged me to get a new four wheeler.
I didn’t need a 4 x 4 but have fancied a defender for many years.
I’ve insured it so I can use it for work as well as private and hopefully as an alternative to the motorbike in bad weather. I work in mines and quarries so that’s the only time it’s likely to go off road even though I’m not far from Salisbury Plain, I did that on my DR350 and KTM400EXC a few years back.
I will no doubt be looking for information, hope there’s a bit of banter
