I’m Jack, based up in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Recently bought a lovely Bowler Stage 1 Defender 90 XS.
My first car back in 2012 was a 2005 Defender 90 County pickup, and then a couple of years later I had a 2010 Defender 110 double cab pickup.
I’ve been away from defenders for a few years, but finally back into them again! My main aim is to rustproof as much as I can due to the extremely salty environment I’m exposed to here in the Western Isles of Scotland! Hoping to make a thread in the builds section at some point to log my progress if anyone is interested in having a look.
I’ll be looking for a lot of advice as I proceed and hope to be able to contribute to others where I can as well.
