Hi All, my name's Nath originally from Birmingham but moved to Derbyshire when i was a nipper. I don't currently own a Land Rover/Range Rover as of yet but will be looking into getting one next year without a doubt. I'm actually after one (Disco/P38) that was ready for green-laning so it had the winch/lift/tyres already to go but it's proving difficult to actually find one for sale. If not I'll just have to do another project.

I was bought up with Land Rovers as a kid as my Step dad, Grandfather and Uncle all worked (Uncle still does) at Land Rover - Solihull so I'm really unsure to why I've not had one as of yet.

Sorry this forum is not for you....

This will put you off land rovers, the forum is to console those who made the purchase already only :)

Just kidding welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum, you'll be wasting your money if you think you need a winch and all that crap just for green laning pal
Each to their own. If you green lane on your own its a nice peace of mind... There is always the worry of cross axling or getting into a rut or something. Especially if you have never driven the lane before, it makes me feel better. You never need it till you need it. One of my best adventures I finished the lane and pulled off the tarmac road to wait for #2, 3, and 4 and stupidly ended up leaning over in a ditch on one side.. Perfectly safe but nearly impossible to get out without a pull/push winch. That is for me enough.
