Hi to everbody,
My wife out of the kindness of her heart bought me a 1999 TD5 Defender 90 hard top van for Christmas and I am well chuffed.
Since then I have been looking at all the web forums and found this one to be the best and as such why I am joining. I hope that this will be an experience that I will enjoy:)

Blimey...she must like your cock!

Had my 99 Def TD5 for ten years, love it. just does what it says on the tin..no frills. Need new rear cross member berfor MOT this April tho  So keep your eye on the metal bits under the paintwork.

Cheers for the 'heads up' Lucan...seems pretty tidy underneath from what I have seen of it fitting a bar side step so my Misses can get in!!!:D
Appreciate any advice from you in any future 'upgrades' that I'd like to carryout.

Talkin of heads up...just been to Halfords an bought two halogen headlamp bulbs for the price of one.. .. The difference is well worth..£20.. If you diy... the spring clips holding the bulbs in are a b*****d. you will probabily have to remove headlamp unit from front, not difficult... just a pain..Happy motorin:lol:

Cheers Lucan, I'm at presant working abroad and making up a 'to do' list of all the things I'd like to upgrade/modify.
The list is forever increasing in size...this includes the 'wonger' I'll need to find to achieve the 'makeover'.
Oh well something to keep me busy in the evenings.
Little snippets like yours only help to reduce the $ spent.
