New to freelanders

Hi
I have just bought a freelander 1.8 petrol and before you all gasp in horror, it has been through the head gasket, cam belt prop shaft window regulators etc that I have read about, and it cost me £850 with 12 month mot. Happy days no doubt, ho, ho, ho.

To be fair seems ok so far, front brakes need rebuild, but otherwise looks ok. Anything to look for?

Tis quite cool off Road with the hdc grinding away on long descents too. Cant wait for the snow now i have fitted four Yoko at_s tyres to it...
