Hi all, just joined the forum after an impulse buy of an 88 series 2a.

I'm sure I will have lots of questions but right now I'm searching for some glass for the upper cat flap tailgate, and suggestion?

Welcome. Photos would be nice . You might have trouble getting hold of that glass panel as a new part.

Hi All, Couple of pics attached. Only had it back from the garage from having a new chassis and engine rebuild for 2 weeks but loving it.

Rear glass seems to be impossible to find so getting one madeI think. Does anyone have advice the offset I should leave from the panel to the glass for the seal?

I like that... As for the additional excess for the glass when I did my alpine windows I just used the thickness of the rubber seal.

I've seen your Landy advertised a few years ago. Looks good. Would look even better with maybe 750 tyres, period ones such as Avon Rangemasters. Enjoy.

Can anyone help with my wipers lost a blade on the motorway and any find a replacement! I have order replacements and arms but too long? Pretty confusing!!!!

Paddock (see advert above) or Craddock sell series wiper blades. Do you still have the plastic adapter that fits on the end of the metal blade? If not make sure when you order them that they include the plastic fitting. I've had them come from Craddock with the wrong kind. Explain when ordering on the phone that you need these. They Britpart so aftermarket made in India. Not expensive. They tend to only last a few years anyway.

Thought you might like an update now the new tyres have been fired,

Yeah! What a difference, nice proportions. Looks great. Remember that it alters the speedometer reading unless you have a speedometer rated for 750's. So , at speedometer reading 25mph your actually doing 30mph. Approximately 5mph out, so remember when in speed restricted areas. Other than that it looks good.

Oh and the larger tyres will give slightly better fuel consumption.
