New to forum, new 90 owner

Hi all,

I've just purchased an 90 land Rover, year 88 as a vehicle for my everyday use and i collect it tomorrow and tbh i'm pretty darn excited!

I've been driving for many years and have thought of getting a Landy for an awful long time and finally the wife has given into my needs and allowed the cash to be spent on something i adore.

I imagine she will need some work in the future ( the Landy, not the wife, although that could be the case as well ) and as an a previous boat owner i know most of the time, we tend to spend our cash on those things we love the most

Although i've had a passion for these vehicles and watched them drive by i have no idea what goes on within one so I'm pretty new to the vehicle and all that comes with it, so expect some basic questions in the future from me

Bad habit that, I've one V8 defender and purely by chance I have gained another v8 defender.(they are contagious)

welcome to the loony zone mate, a thick skin is a must round these parts but if you can put up with the **** taking you'll find a lot of useful knowledge and some decent folk anorl.

Fanatic's right about them being addictive..........bet you'll have 2 of them by this time next year

I've been mooching around when looking to buy for tips n stuff so i have an idea about the current forum..ahem...etiquette

Although she only has a TD in there atm, i shall look for a 200TDi conversion in the near future as i run motorways once or twice a month, but work wise i'm in construction so this beats a van anyday.
