Hi all, I'm about to buy a decent disco 200 I've found to replace the series 3 petrol. I was just wondering what are the standard tyres discos come on and as I've got a big stack of 7.50 x 16 avon rangemasters, will they fit the disco rims. It's on the alloys by the way.

As Hughsey said, standard size was 205/70/16, then LR fitted 235/70/16 to top end models (ES GS), either size will do, though most Disco's I see without a lift are using 235's.
 
Do a search mate this has been done many times on here. Basically you can fit much bigger tyres without a lift if you trim the bodywork a bit. I've got 265/75s on mine without any suspension mods works fine.

The std tyres for a std Disco TDi 200 are: 205/80/16 or 235/70/16
