New steering wheel SRS light on

hi fitted a replacement steering wheel and air bag
From one of my donor freelanders
As my old one was very beaten up and the replacement is mint and has the leather inserts
Straight forward job but SRS light in now on is this because of airbag change should I refit the old airbag or have I missed something thanks

Any way of reading the codes so will have to book in to the garage thanks again for your time
