Got my two Dunlop "Pnueride" springs on today, along with two new Bilstein B6 gas shocks. Special offer from Paddocks.
Job went fine, except the first side took me about an hour due to a total schoolboy error... Fitted the spring before the shock absorber, which meant I couldn't drop the axle fully.
Compressing those Bilsteins is like trying to break King Kong's boner and I got the bottom end jammed in the mount. After mucho grunting and a couple of popped blood vessels I got it back out, lifted the axle and disconnected the bottom-end of the spring. Dropped the axle, fitted the shocker, raised the axle and refitted the spring.
Being a quick learner, I avoided that mistake on the other side and that one took me less than 20mins all in.
When I lowered the motor and started to reinflate, one side did not seem to be inflating evenly, so I lifted the jack up again a bit, and she went into shape no problem. So l let her down again and she's reinflated to height with no problems (yet).
