A good idea would be to go and try and get an apprenticeship as a plumber or an electrician. Seriously, how many jobs do you think there are in "Live Events Production",also, how many other people will be chasing those jobs. I hope you get the job you want when you leave Uni. but try some simple arithmetic with the numbers to see what your outcome jobwise might be.A plumber can always find work.
Also if you cant think of any ideas yourself, then you should rip-off Caesar or Alexander the Great or someone Famous, then you can say it's a "tribute".
How about a picture of Caesar on top of a big "****-off" hill saying the immortal "VENI,VIDI,VICI" then looking over his shoulder at his Defender and saying "Et,tu, Landy".

That ain't fair mate. There are jobs about. Lots of people on dole were pushed into plumbing by jobcentre. Not the guaranteed job once was.

He has chosen a course, none of our business why etc. Live events=marketing, which for most companies is vital right now, and finding new ways of doing it is what these new courses is all about and opposed to totally irrelevant courses like social psychology!

Well I am a project manager for a live events company and we are thriving, taking on new staff constantly and have loads of Olympic work in the pipeline as well as our usual festivals and rock tours. I certainly wouldn't have chosen plumbing instead

I could write a long post to try and justify to you my choice but i really can't be bothered to be honest.
I'm quite happy with the line of work i have chosen and am more than confident that i will be able to find plenty of work within the industry when i leave university and even if i can't, i have plenty of transferable skills to allow me to find work in something else if i don't immediately find work.
That could work quite well actually although I'd be worried that it might go over the heads of quite a lot of people and not quite make the impact I'm after. Nice idea though. :)

Looks that way, however by my ranting its Next Week:rolleyes:

What a rebuttal!! I found it to have passion, Desire, in the round Demonstrating just how wrong I can be.

This is my contribution:

Road To No Ware, Then Make A Road To Some Ware. "Shall We Go".

Fair play...Mate. That was Karma. :welcome2:
Good Luck & all the best

Vince

Thanks for the contribution.
I quite like the "Shall we go?" idea.
I was thinking of "always ready" or maybe playing on the old scout motto with "always prepared". What do you think?
