looks pretty straight. Is it solid?
I'm no expert but it isn't too bad. Looks to be very straight. Has bits of bubbling rust here and there and a couple of holes one in the engine and one on the right door. Hopefully nothing too major. Currently has a diesel engine fitted however has the original petrol in the boot. The old owner said something about the brakes wont work at the minute and if I put the Petrol engine back in I will get them working.
Got me a little confused as I was hoping to try and get the diesel started and then plod on from there getting everything else in order.
Does anyone have any idea as to why I wouldn't get the brakes working with the diesel but would with the petrol?

ER no...thats just bizarre! The brakes may have seized if its been stood a while but thats got bugger all to do with the engine...i'd try and keep the diesel engine tbh.
By the way...wheres the 'hole' you mention in the engine?? You may need to get that sorted!!
