If you're bothered about it being angled back at a tilt why not put a 1 inch spacer on the front support rail so its pre-tipped ?

Gutted for you mate, does anyone have any ideas about what else will fit?
I P38 and RR classic seats has anyone fitted some of the universal ones available?

I guess they will fit anything without that stupid cut out sloping transmission tunnel part....that isn't even needed when I checked underneath or happily in a Disco if you are under 6 foot
If I get no sniffs, might have a proper look at the Mrs's MG to see if they will go in there.....

cool, I need to sort out my seats, I checnged them for ones from a 200tdi ES (manual seats)
They feel great and fit well but I needed to change the bases to the old ones from my XS, simply moved the covers and the foam but I was under pressure to put it back to gether so the backs are a bit of a botch and are not quite high enough so I struggle get them uprightr again if I have reclined them. Like when I slept in Pembrooke waiting for the ferry
I'll see if I can get to this weekend and sort it out. Hopefully the nice man at ballysimon motorworks would have fitted my steering box by then!

Right, I reckon these seats will fit in a 200 or a 3 door 200/300 that doesn't have the sloping transmission tunnel if you aint a tall bugger like me and want to lower them - or maybe a manual if they are different to the auto.
So is anyone interested that may have one of these versions, and will let them go for a song.....say £150.00 to the first member interested as taking up huge amounts of space in my garage that I could put to better use??
