:multiply:There i was outside my workshop on friday afternoon all my loyal customers repairs done when i decided nothing i can do to my v8 rangey engine until the new bit arrives(or big green monster as my wife has called it) when i thought i might as well start taking the 3 inch body lift off the parts one round back of my unit
the green monster is parked and a grassed hard standing outside of the front off my unit under a camera for safe keeping, as i was taking the nuts of the back end when i heard a van pull up and a rattle of chains, so i walk round to see what the noise was. the boys in blue and a clamping guy. who imediatley gave me a peice of paper about new clamping laws
this i can understand but the rangey is registerd to the garage and is under going repairs for mot as they are bloody good for pulling cleints out of ditches and so forth so i pointed this out to clamper and pc plod and he
started going on about the rangey not having trade plates displayed so he could clamp it & thats the end of it so i thought hang on a mo, that means if a customer bring a vechicle in for repair and its an old er rangerover they,ve brought as project and it needs bits and peices for mot then that to can be clamped never mind it being coverd by garages insurance as my garage is only big enough to work on one vechicle at a
time means the side land & private parking area is useless so they carried on to clamp it so thanks to who ever it was that stole the alloy wheels it was stood on cause the rangey is now parked in my grandads barn and usual story so sign of the police over the wheels there just trying to do me moving my vechicle, never mind that it took me all weekned to find out the had clamp it illegaly but bewarned any one with project vechicles outside your house the bleep, bleep, bleeps can clamp where ever
they want
so sign of police yet
