New Purchase

Hi people I have just bought a 2004 LANDROVER DISCOVERY LANDMARK TD5 which I pick up on Tuesday.
I have a problem. The key that opens the door does not start the ignition I have a separate key.
Can I get a new key to open the door, switch on/off the alarm and start the car ?
The previous owner replaced the ignition barrel as the key broke inside it. I live in Northern Ireland so any advice would be great.

You may need to buy a complete matching set - door lock barrels and an ignition switch. If I was you I'd just put up with having two keys for the time being.

If the fobs work why worry bout keys for doors?

Don't want to be a pessimist on a Sunday morning and all that, but, you sure the key broke off? Of course you are, forgive me, you went all inspector clouseau in the cars history
