Hi all, owner of a very nice 2004 D2 with slightly leaky V8
Bit of a placeholder project before I can track down / justify a 90 for an automatic conversion.
I'll be working on building this out as a medium-distance camper/base-camp for my outdoor activities and as a cross-continent tourer with a little bit of overlander thrown in.
Some key requirements will be:
- A 'luxury' suite for my two (big) dogs who love to get outside, but don't enjoy long car journeys all that much!
- Hidden organisation for tools and gear.
- Bullet-proofing the engine (as much as you can with a Rover V8!)
- Some level of interior comfort for my SO!
Step 1 is figuring out the wiring rats nest as a few DIY add-ons from a previous owner has left it a bit of a mess.
Step 2 fixing weeping oil from somewhere in the engine bay that's getting blown all over by the fan.
