OK, complete noob question here so go easy on me :)

When I got my '02 TD5 110 last month the seller said that if he had kept it he would have a) waxoyled it and b) put some new poly bushes on it.

I'm doing the waxoyl bit but I'm wondering about the bushes as I have to say the steering/handling is a bit woolly around bends, no doubt partly caused by me not having got used to it yet. But am wondering whether he was thinking about poly bushes for the same reason - is that what they do?

Also the landy seems a bit higher than usual, someone suggested that it has uprated springs, would this add to the woollyness. Hopefully someone will be able to cast their eye over it at the l2b and tell me what I've got..

new bushes will help std genuine ones are the best ,but poly are easy to fit and change again so usually fit those for people and come in different characteristics
