Hi, from South Africa and have newly acquired two Land Rover vehicles.
One being a 1968 Series 2A PU and the other a 2010 Defender 110 SW

I've seen some brilliant posts regarding maintenance and decided its time to join the forum. My Series will need a lot of work, but with the knowledge thats on the forum, I'm sure I will be able too.

Dry climate should help the S3. Does it need a major refurbishment? Are there still the odd examples of RR Suffix A or C to be had in SA? I mean the original two door V8's?

its a S2A. it has been rebuilt with a nissan 2.7TD, but I'd like to get a 2.25P motor in it. I'm currently using it as my daily commute. The body work needs attention, but it is drivable.
